We can't wait to

CELEBRATE WITH YOU

To Our Dearest Family & Friends,

This isn’t just any celebration—it’s our celebration, and we can’t imagine it without you. Our love story has been years in the making, filled with laughter, lessons, and countless unforgettable moments. But through it all, one thing has remained constant—the incredible people who have stood by us, cheered us on, and shared in our journey. That’s why this day is more than just a wedding. It’s a gathering of the people we hold closest to our hearts, a night filled with love, joy, and memories we’ll cherish forever. Every detail has been thoughtfully planned, not just for us, but for you, the people who have been part of our lives in the most meaningful ways. We would be honored to have you there as we say I do, celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime moment, and dance the night away with the people who mean the most to us. This is an intimate, special event, and your presence would mean the world to us.

With all our love,

Kenn and Mitch

Our Love Story

From Strangers on a Bus to Partners in Life

Sometimes, love begins in the most unexpected places. For us, it all started on a bus—two complete strangers with no common friends, headed in different directions. I was on my way to attend a high school reunion, and he was returning home after serving as a soldier during the Zamboanga Siege.

Fate placed us side by side that day. He asked for my phone number, and to my own surprise, I gave it. That simple exchange sparked the beginning of something extraordinary.
Our conversations grew, and not long after, we met again when his battalion was stationed in Zamboanga City. On March 8, 2013, we officially became a couple, stepping into a journey that would be defined by love, resilience, and distance.

Ours was a long-distance relationship from the beginning. We treasured the rare moments we could see each other—often when I attended trainings in Pagadian City, where his detachment was based. In 2016, our love faced yet another test as I moved abroad for work, but we held on with unwavering commitment.

In 2018, he made a life-changing decision. Leaving behind his military career, he transitioned into teaching and moved to Vietnam, all so we could be closer. Yet even then, our paths still demanded patience, with work keeping us in different places. It wasn’t until 2021 that we finally found ourselves not just in the same country, but in the same city—living out the quiet joy of being together after years of waiting.

Our love story may have taken time, distance, and many goodbyes—but it also gave us strength, trust, and the deepest appreciation for every moment we now share.

As we prepare to say “I do,” we invite you to celebrate with us—because love, no matter how far it travels, always finds its way home.
